Wedding Shower

Morin' Everyone!!
Today I'm posting one of 2 Wedding shower cards I making..... One is for my Mom to send and the one she dose not pick will be the one I send.... :)
Here's a shot of the front and the envelope in the back too....
The image is by Flourishes-Wedded Bliss set  and the True Love is from Flourishes-Happily Ever After set.  I used some Stickles Rock Candy on the skirt and after it dried I put some SmoochGlitz-Starlight over it to make it sparkly. I also used the SmoochGlitz around the white image so it would pop off the black better.... thou I not sure it show very well in the pic.
Oh and the background paper Clear Translucent Sheets by The paper company (I love this stuff, it's a little heaver then velum but has the same affect and holds up better I think)  is embossed with Victoria and then I lightly rubbed Stampin' Up Encore!- Silver over it, a little trick but OK... I also cut the bottom with a MFT border die.

This side view you can see the layers and how I made the skirt puffy along with the stone on the ring finger too!!!

Not sure if this angle will show it better or not....

and here's the inside, the verse came from Cloud 9 Simple Thoughts-Love collection. I used the same MFT fishtail die to cute out the saying and the black and then just cut the sides off the white so it would show.  I also put SmoochGlitz-Starlight around the white. The cute little things in he corners are from the same Flourishes stamp set-Wedded bliss.

Hopefully later today I'll be able to finish the other card and post it too....
See Ya!

I stamped my fig on watercolor paper and then colored with watercolor crayons and a Aqua Pen....

Here you can see the extra leaf I colored and cut out, then popped it up I really like how it looks here.
and you can see the Grace's Frame I cut out using a Clear Translucent sheet, it's kind of like velum but much cheaper, I got it at JoAnnes'.

and here's the inside.... again I used the Grace's Frame on but the peach paper and the clear paper... and cut the center part of the frame out of the peach paper and then printed my words on the Clear paper and put it on top... spunged the edges and it's done... Oh and I stamp another little fige that came with the set in the lower left of the clear paper too...

Here's the box for the card....

and here's the cards, all a little different and blank inside...

I am entering these in the "Just Us Girls #129" challenge.

Mom's Mother's Day Card

Hi Everyone!
I know I'm EARLY but want to show you the card I made my Mom for Mother's Day.
It's one of the Calenders I've been making but for hers I put in all the family dates and there's still plenty of room for her to add others too!
You know me I had to fancy up the front....
and here's a closer look.......

And the inside.... I did the hanger part a little different here.
I left the calender part lose from the fold down so I could write a message under it...
Like the Springy look of this one, and know she will too!! (you know Mom's love everything we do)

In the Meadow we can build a SnowMan

Hi Everyone!!
This will be my last post for Christmas cards for a few days... I need a break!!!
Here's the last of the cased cards I did from Michelle Wooderson, she is so talented and has some of the freshest ideas.....
Here's my take on her Snowman card;

As with the other two cards I used different papers and punches than Michelle did....
I stayed with the same colors and paper I used for my other 2 cards so they would match and make a good set.
Here's a good close up of the Snowman.... on that BIG Snow flake.......
Here's the things I used;
  • Papertrey ink stamp set / In the Meadow
  • Papertrey ink die set / In the Meadow
  • Martha Stewart border punch / Rain Drop
  • Spellbinders Pendant / Lattice
  •  Stampendous! Embossing Powder / Star Dust-Transparent
  • Memento Rich Cocoa ink

  • Paper used by; Stampin' Up, Creative Memories, and some unknown??

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Tea Boxssssss!

Will I've been working on Tea Boxs and though I would share with you all the different ideas I used.
Now don't laugh to hard on this one....
It's my Out House Tea Box

I know there just to CUTE aren't they??? Will when my hubby saw the girly ones I made he said that would make a good Out House so I had to give it a try... I took some crackly paper and some woody paper and scored it like wood planks and then sponged over that so the scoring would show some.... then I took a circle and double cut a moon.  The I just took some black floss like string and made a little handle....

Now the roof was made from some Creative Memories Shimmer paper, it had just enough shine to it to make it look like metel then I scored it every inch and on each side of that I scored again 1/8 inch and did my foldes...then just sponged around it to make it look old...... I was supprised how cute they turned out.

Now here's my Girly Tea boxs... So sweet looking I think.  I put a Tea pot on the front and the Tea cups on the back.  On these I even put a little top knot on them...
Here's a better shot of the little top knots... The tops just needed something and I didn't want to put a bow on them since there going to be in a kitchen... so I though of make these little things.

Now here's the ones I made using my old tea bags.... they are just so colorful I hated to just throw them away so I though I would try this out....
and this is the top and inside top too with more tea bags.....

And here's my last ones.... my John Deer tea boxs....
This is the front and back view.
I just have 2 more to make so I better get going and start my last two... !
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

WOYWW-120

WOYWW
(What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday)
Every Wednesday Julie Dunnit hosts a gathering of crafters of all kinds from everywhere to share what they are working on, by taking a pic of your play area. It's really fun to see all the different things people from all over the world are working on and I must say I've meet some very interesting people from Julie's sit.
Thanks Julie!!!!
Will here's mine for today;

I made a book using my Zutter binder to put all my Internet info in.... Here's the front with that same beautiful paper by Creative Memories that I used on my "Today's Treasures" book on a post before this one.
I used the Martha Stewart border punch Gothic Arches on the red and another MS border punch on the black but don't have the name of that one.....
The title plate was made with Spellbinders Fancy Tags 3

Here's the inside and the first divider with tab... here you get a better shot of the MS punch I used but don't know the name of......?
and here's a shot of just the tabs...
Will that's it for today...

Today's Treasures book

Hi Everyone!!
Today I'm showing you my "Today's Treasures" book I made.

The paper is by Creative Memories, and the punch I used down the left side is a Martha Stewart Corner punch called Gothic Arches.. I love to use corner punches to make borders... that black line down the right side is elastic to hold the book closed..... You'll see how I fastened it later....

this is the inside front cover with a pock and the first divider with a pocked too....

OK this is the first section... I have several sections in this section, each contains a large envelope, mini graft paper, large graft paper, cold pressed paper, journal paper and then it starts over.....

This is the second section for Thoughts.... it also has a pocked across the bottom.....

and this is the inside back cover with a pocked across the bottom too... I used the Gothic Arches border punch here...

and here's the back cover.. here you can see how I faceted the black elastic to the cover with Eyelets.

And this is a close up of the front title plate.... guess I should have had this pic closer to the beginning...
I'm making a few more things out of this same paper... so be posting that soon...

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Monica in Yellow!

Morning Everyone!!
Today Monica is wearing basic rust colored slacks with a yellow blouse to brighten her look.  Her belt and shoes are a darker brown with matching yellow socks.  The coat with matching hat are a lovely shade of green and has at nice red liner, nothing to out do the blouse color.  Her purse is the same as the liner of the coat.  Again only available in size "1"... Te... He... :))
Monica a stamp by Rubbernecker was stamped on Water Color paper and colored with SU-Watercolor Crayons using a Aqua Pen. I left her a rectangle and just sponged the edges. For the panle in the background I used Spellbinders Wonky die, and stamped it with CTMH-Damask Tiles (C-1342) and the same for the enevelop.

Here's Monic in Yellows close up............

this sure did blur out.... but you can see the Damask Tiles
