Black & White Birthday

Hi Everyone!
Today I'm posting a card I saw somewhere but can't find the blog to give her credit (Sorry!) So if you stop by to look I hope you don't mind, I went back to try and find it but had no luck.
The 2 borders I used were both Martha Stewart border punches, the black one is called Woodland Branch, have used this one allot by it self and was having trouble getting it to cut all the way thru in one spot... I did the trick with tin foil and wax paper but it did not help with this one..... the border on the white is called Pansy and this is really the first time I used it... I did not have the corner punch for either one so I just made the ribbon extend down over the corner where it's messed up... I do like the look of this and hope to use this again.  The flower stamp is from Serendipity Stamps...

Here's a closer look at the borders.....

And here you see the flowers better.....

and then the inside.....

I colored the flowers with SU-crayons and then used Adirondack espresso in the middle.
Will that's it for me today...
I'm fighting a headache and just can't shake it... I think it's the poopy weather we're having.

Working on these flippin' stamp sets again.   I doing a few of the men because I need some Manley cards....don't we all?
Here's the first one so far.....

Here he is in all his glory..... the beer is yellow and then I put some Crystal effects so it would look wet...can't see it here but it looks good in person.

don't know if you can really see it but I used Stickles Rock Candy on the beer foam, and Liquid Pearls on his buttons. I put some Liquid Pearls around the barrel too.

And here's his back view... if you enlarge the pic you'll see the crack in his butt... OH my...
I didn't color him in the inside just stamped him with black ink.
The saying came with this sit too.. .
He was really fun to do because he's just so funny looking and you really can't do to much wrong with him...

Happy Hauntings!

Hi Everyone!!
Today I did something compleatly different than what I've been doing for almost a month now..... I did a Halloween card....
Now I'm not usually big on Halloween but I got this free stamp set from CTMH and had to try it out, its called Thriller (D1442) and the Chandelier came from an OLD Clear Stamps I had by Heidi Swapp.
Here's the front.

This close up you can see the Adirondack Dimensional Pearls in Eggplnat around the outher edge, then Lettuse aroung the orange, and Butterscotch around the yellow in the backround area.  I also used some Liquid Pearls Silver Pearl on the tips of each candle and then when that dried I added a little Stickles-Crystal.

Now for the inside.... I used the same background paper and then used an old Fiskars corner punch on that.  I added the large labe from Spellbinder Labels Four set and stamped the bottom with that FREE CTMH set Thriller (D1442).
Hope you enjoyed the change, because I sure did... may do a few more of these before moving on to something else... who know??
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Christmas 3

Hi Everyone!!!
Today I'm showing my third Christmas Card.... This one I did simple because I'm going to make a bunch of them.... I used my Cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots on the Green background then just layered white and red behind the Merry Christmas paper I got last year.  Put a little ribbon around that before mounting to the green and added a tag with Gold embroidery threads. Then around the green I added Gold Liquid Pearls, that added just enough glitz I think.  On the envelope I stamped the holy from a CTMH set called "Vintage Christmas" (D-1166).

Here you can see the tag better with "Merry Christmas" from the CTMH set called "Peace on Earth" (D1243),

this is the inside,  I stamped from the same  CTMH set called "Peace on Earth" (D1243).  The border I used a Martha Stewart border punch and more Christmas paper I bough last year and backed it with more of the Red.
Hope you enjoyed today's card, This one was a simple design so it could make a bunch easily...
The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated envelop cost 2.50/each, and like anything hand made no two will be exactly alike, maybe very close but can't promise.

Thanks for stopping by again!
 Hope you Enjoyed!!

Tea Bags are like Woman???

Morning Everyone!!!
Will this morning I got up and as I looked at the cards I did yesterday I could not decide which I liked best..........What do you think??????
With or Without that is the question....?????
I really like them both but... I wanted to know what other card gals though of my new discovery of Liquid Pearls.  I've been trying it on everything and I might have gone a little WILD!!
OK here we go,
Below is my card front, the gal on the front is from Close to my Heart stamp set Ms. Gardener (D1344) Love this whole set but did not get around to using it till now.... then I didn't even use it for gardening.... Oh will back to my post.  I stamped her using StazOn ink and then colored her with SU- Watercolor Crayons and an Aqua Pen. The saying came form the Stampin' Up set Favorite Thoughts... this set came with 4 sentiments and all 4 are sassy... love them! I also used 2 Spellbinder dies, the tag was cut down form the Fancy Tags set and the yellow arch behind the tag was cut down from the Labels-13 set.  I also used the large oval punch by SU for the rust color behind the tag.
Anyway this is the card With OUT Liquid Pearls card.

This is WITH Liquid Pearls.   What do you think.
below are the close up and inside shots too.

Here's a close up of the detail work at the bottom of the front, I use two border punches by Martha Stewart.  My bow was made using the Bow-Easy.... Love that thing, the ribbons are from Michael's I think.
Close up With OUT Liquid Pearls.

WITH Liquid Pearls.

and here's the inside.  The whole saying is "A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water. by-Eleanor Roosevelt" I used the first part "A woman is like a tea bag." on the front and rest on the inside. Had to stamp it twice and cut it apart
No I didn't use any Liquid Pearls on the inside, I though it would have made it to thick looking....
Will that's it for today, Let me know which you like best, I really need a second, third, and forth opinion on this!
The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated envelop cost 3.50/each, and like anything hand made no two will be alike, maybe very close but can't promise.

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Just For Fun

Hi Everyone!!!
Will here's my Manly Card for August,,,,, I think I missed last months manly card...sorry!
So today I need a Manley Birthday card and this is what I came up with.
I think it turned out pretty good... I used Creative Memories Red and Black, and then SU paper for the background with the Poker Chips and the JUST FOR FUN also came from the same SU paper pack, I just cut the words out of the paper and edged them in black ink.  Now the King of diamonds came from a SU stamp set that I borrowed from a stamping friend years ago and stamped a sheet of the cards to use as need... Always wanted to buy this set but just never did....

Here you can see how I colored in the King of Diamonds with markers and used Red and Gold Liquid Pearls to set off his trim and crown.
The black ribbon came from my stash, have no idea where it came from... Don't usually do ribbon on my Manly Cards but his just needed something so it got a little ribbon with a knot.

This is the inside, I used a EKSuccess border punch at the bottom and then colored in the black.... then added a strip of the Poker Chips paper next.  The sentiment came from Fiskars-Make a Wish Quotes set, and the long Happy Birthday came from a CTMH Happy Birthday (C1257) set.
The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated envelope cost 3.00/each, and like anything hand made no two will be alike, maybe very close but can't promise.
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Flowers

Morning Everyone!!!
Today I'm in the mood for Flowers.... it's been sooooo HOT here that I wanted to do something that would make me feel Cool.
This is a close up of the bottom part of the card.  I used Spellbinders Fancy Tags for the Happy Birthday, and the Cuttlebug folder Bird & Swirls (37-1609) on the yellow paper behind it.  And then across the bottom I used an EK-success border punch, can't remember the name of it, which they would have the name on there punches along with the pictures.....

Here is a close up of the flowers... Love all the colors..
The stamp set is from SU-Bloomin' Beautiful, it has another flower that is just beautiful too, along with a cute little bee in flight and two sayings...I colored these with SU-Watercolor Crayons and a Aqua pen....
Love the look... AND in the middle of each flower I put a drop of Liquid Pearls.

Here is the whole thing....
The Flowers are on white card stock and I used Spellbinders Labels One to cut it our, and then SU-Dimensional to pop it up.
The same border punch was used across the top too, just a different color paper.

and here's the inside....
The saying inside is from Cloud9 (Simple Thoughts-Happy Birthday, I love all of them in this set and there's 12 with other little goodies too.
This was another fun card for me.....

The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated enevelop cost 3.50/each, and like anything hand made no two will be alike, maybe very close but can't promise.
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!
