First Birthday ...

Morning all.

Today I'm posting a card I made for out Grandson who turns 1 a few days after Christmas....

So I had to get it finished early....

Here's a close up shot.

I used My Mind's eye and BoBunny papers along with Stampin Up and Creative Memory paper too.... The little Giraffes and trees are from a 3-D sticker pack by La Petites, How cute is he....

The Happy Birthday stamp is by Close to my Heart.

This was so much FUN to make, I know he will not even notice it but I hope his Mom and Dad do.

Will it's been a while since I've posted I know... but life just keeps getting in the way.  But I though I would share a BD card I made for my Step-Son BD coming up in a few weeks.

Here's the front....

and here's the inside, I finished off both the top half as will as the main part of the card on this one....

Dustins Baby Book

Will it's almost a year and I'm FINALLY getting our Grandbabys' PaperBag Book finished.....
If you've never made one don't think bad of me... I'm not big on Albums and thought this Paper Bag Book would be a snap... Boy was I wrong... more work that I though for sure, but think it turned out pretty good.  You be the judge and let me know.
For thouse of you that have never see one here's a couple of before pics;

This is the front or back which ever you decide to make it....... When I bought my bag Albums I got 3-white and 3-craft colored ones... and this is the FIRST one I've used in..... 2--maybe 3 years...

And this is an inside shot, it you look close or double click you will see in the middle it comes sewned... Thank God.

Ok... Here's a look at what I did with this.

This is the front cover and the card too....

The inside cover has a pull up and then the first page of the bag on the left.

Page 2 is the bottom of the bag that creates a pocked, I made a card to wright on to tuck in there.

Page 3 is the top of the bag to the right so I made a pull out to got in there...

Page 4 and 5...

Page 6 another pocked and page 7 with pull out....

Page 8 pull out, page 9 pocke has 2 tags that you can wright on the backs of...

Page 10, and page 11 with a pull out....

Page 12 with pull out, and then that back cover and a pocked and the tag inside will say from GrandPaw and GrandMaw...

and this is the back cover....

I just used old cardboard I had and cover with paper... and that's it....

I know it dosn't look like it should have taken a year... but I was doing other things too... and this thing really had me going... but I just had to get it finished for his Birthday...

My Goodness... I'm with Worst GrandMaw ever.....

3 Tea House Box's

Yesterday I finished the 3 Tea House Box's I was making for my Mom. 

Here's a shot of all three, the one in the middle is the one I posted back on the 9th if you want to go back and check it out closer.

I also did up the inside top's......

Again the middle one is that same one I did on the 9th.. the 2 on the sides are the new ones...

I know Mom will Love them she LOVES eveything I make, but then that's what Mom do right...?

Will now on to another project I've been putting off but just have to get it finished...

Fuchsias.....

Mornin'
Today I needed a BD card for a younglady... and this is what I made....

I've had this stamp set by Flourish's for some time now but had never used it,,, will when I saw it agin I just had to give it a try.   I stamped it on Watercolor paper and did my coloring with Memento's markers.. this was an all first for me the stamp set and using just the markers to color with... but I do like the result and think I'll be trying it again...

and this is the inside.... I kept it simple too...

Will that's it for me today... hope you are all enjoying the weather it's been just beautiful here in Fl the last few days not to hot in the morning and not to stickey durning the day.... I know it won't last but it's been a nice brack in the HEAT for us...

Tea House

Hi All,,,
Today I'm showing my first Tea House in quite awhile... A few years back I must have made a dozen or more and just could not stand the though of making another one.... Will I got asked by a very nice lady (my Mom ) if I would make a few for her to give as gifts to her lady friends... Now you know I could not say no to her. So here I am in the Tea House business again....

this is the front view.....

 and this is a close up of the tea pot on the front both the pot and the fancy tag are popped up, not sure if it shows in this pic....

here's the back with the lid open so you can see how it's done up....

and the front with the top open so you can see the inside too....

All we have to do is load it with tea bags now.

Only have 2 more to make, so better get cracking I guess....

I frog-got

Hi There,
The last couple of days I've been working on a few belated BD cards.... I used the same stamp, just colored them differently and used some of the same paper and some different paper for the two cards....
First here's a quick look at them both.....

 Now here's the first one I made.......is he not just sexy looking.... in is green with yellow spots and teal belly.... just love thoes eyes.....

 and this is the inside.......

Now this little cutie was just the color of a little girl frog to me....don't ask me why......So I used pinks and reds, and a bow too for a more girly look.... this pic looks a little washed out but it's really much brighter.

Happy Birthday Chicken Man.......

Hi All!!!

Will today I needed to make a BD card for one of our Son's.... He's a grown Man now but still loves getting my BD cards so I always try to make them FUN....

Here's what I did this year...

Is't he just the Cuties Chicken ever......and I think the paper kind of looks like chicken wire if you strech your amagination......

I put some of the wobble eyes on him too... too cute!!!

this is a side view....

I left the inside blank because still don't know if we'll see him on is BD or a few days after so I'll add that when I know....

NOEL... Which one....?

Will I'm struggling here.... first I made this NOEL card....



here's another view... 

really not happy with this look....

so I tried this...

I like this better for sure....

and here's the inside...... yes I got that far.....

I do like the look of the second one better but I guess it's the feel of the front cover of the card that has me a little off..... Since it's just a pice of printed card stock, it is a heavy weight paper but it's not a double layer like most cards... so it feels a little thin I guess.  Maybe most people would not even notice this... but to me it feels a little cheep I guess.... Am I over thinking this?????
