Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Here's a card I made for my Mom.... she's 93 and going strong!
Will I though the pic was good till I posted it.... you really can't see all the little beads in the center of the flowers and the shine to the butterfly's.... but in person it's very petty.... really!

Here's a another shot from a different angle, maybe it shows up better.....

Got the idea for the lats work on the fold side from Splitcost stamps last weeks news letter... was really easy to do.  You need paper with front and back printed different so it show up better...

Card in a Box for Mother's Day

Today I finished my Mom's Mother's day card..... I made her a card in a box... she loves 3-D card so I know she is going to love this one....I found this last year on a blog by Tina Weller she even has a video on this link.  She made several different ones all very pretty, much more so than mine...

My first couple of pics are with the card closed, you'll see a little blue clip in the middle to get the pic of how it will look when she pulls it out of the envelope. So pretend the little blue clip is not there....
this is the front, I need to add Happy Mother's Day yet......maybe in the clouds.

this is the back....

so as soon as I take the clip off or pull it out of the envelope it starts to open like this.........

Here's how it looks from the front.....

the side view......

and the back, here you can add your love......
so now I'm ready for Mom's day..... I'll have to get her a real plant too of course.  She may like this card more thow because she won't have to water this....

Unlisted Number

Hi Everyone!!!

This moring I just finished a card using a new Flourishes stamp set called "Call me"  Since both my hubby and myself are both retired telephone people this stamp set really was a MUST HAVE when I saw it.
This is the front... with my nice big old phone, I used some gold smooch to make the dial, cradle and parts of the receiver look like brace... may not be able to see it in my pics but if you double click I think it will enlarge for you.

Here's a closer view.

and then the inside too....

Will I have one more like this one to make and have my paper picked out so later today if I get the time I may be able to make another.... hope so!

Get Well

Todays card is for a friend that's recovering for surgery.... All went well but though he could use some cheering up. I wanted to make something cute and doggie and this stamp set from MFT fit the bill... I used the little boy and dog from MFT-Dog Gone Cute and the saying form MFT-Puppy Girl.

On the inside I used another saying from MFT-Puppy Girl and an OLD stamp set I had from Inkadinkado-Round Frames..... I stamped the same little dog on the inside and on the envelop too...

Our dog Belle and there dog Mann are boyfriend and girlfriend long distance.... when they see each other it's like puppy love all over again... so so cute!!!
I'm going to make this out now and go drop it in the mail so maybe I catch the Mail-lady!!!

My 3rd Manly Birthday Card

Morning everyone!!!
I saw this card yesterday and just had to use the idea... here's the gals site that came up with this Too Cute card.
Didn't have the same stamps as she did but I still love the look.... so simple and clean!

Here's a closer look.....

and here you can see that I popped everything up off the card.

and the inside... I used an old CM punch for the border at the bottom but looks more like swiss cheese that bubbles to me...
So now that's 3 manly cards, yes I'm going to count this as manly for the Young at Heart!!!

Will I finished another one..... a little more to this one but still Manly...
When I stamped the boat and dock I put it toward the bottom of the paper... I wanted to try doing clouds like I've seen on so many other blogs... will I worked on several scraps and felt I had it down pretty good so I went for it on my boat piece.... Boy was I disapointed..... I sould have takin a pic of that before I put the die cut clouds over it.... YUCK.... Anyway I think I saved it.
I diffently need to work on my clouds....

Here's a closer look of the layers of the clouds.....

and a different view......

and the inside.......
Still have several more to make so I better get going......

Desk Mess....

I took a break from trying to Organize my craft STUFF and decided to have some fun and  do some coloring...

Had most of these already stamped or printed, they just need some color so I did my best but it had been a while... It's Oh so true about "If you don't use it, you lose it".
Anyway now there ready for the next step, using them on cards...

Summer Afternoon......

When I got the stamp set from MFT I know I would use this Tree first.... and I did...
Really this could be used for just about any occasion or just a friendly Hi too.

this is the front......

and here's the inside.... I love this saying!

I though I would show you how I came to use the olive color on the tree...
I usually do a sample using a few different colors so it would give me an idea of the outcome... sometimes this works and sometimes it just looks compleatly different when its all done.
Anyway, this is my sample with the SU-Crayons colors I used.

Hope you Enjoyed!!

Monica in Yellow!

Morning Everyone!!
Today Monica is wearing basic rust colored slacks with a yellow blouse to brighten her look.  Her belt and shoes are a darker brown with matching yellow socks.  The coat with matching hat are a lovely shade of green and has at nice red liner, nothing to out do the blouse color.  Her purse is the same as the liner of the coat.  Again only available in size "1"... Te... He... :))
Monica a stamp by Rubbernecker was stamped on Water Color paper and colored with SU-Watercolor Crayons using a Aqua Pen. I left her a rectangle and just sponged the edges. For the panle in the background I used Spellbinders Wonky die, and stamped it with CTMH-Damask Tiles (C-1342) and the same for the enevelop.

Here's Monic in Yellows close up............

this sure did blur out.... but you can see the Damask Tiles

Here's the inside with just one Wonky panel with the Setiment also by Rubbernecker:
Be the kind of Woman that when her feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, "Oh crap, she's up!"
I just LOVE this setiment and know I'll be using it often...
Will that's it for the Girls for a while,,,I'm jsut about pooped out with all this modeling and all...

Belle in Blue

Hi Again!!!
As promised I'm back today with Belle but today she's wearing all blue.

Belle was stamped on Water Color paper and colored with SU-Watercolor Crayons using a Aqua Pen.
Yes if you look close she dose have some Pokie-Dots on her shawl and the scarf on her hat, they were stamped on the same Pokie Dot paper as yesterdays card, cut and pieced back in place.
Again I left her a rectangle and just sponged the edges. The frame I cut using Spellbinders Wonky dies and popped it up on top of Belle.  I also used the Wonky dies for the word "Style" in the lower left corner.
here's a side view.......

and here you can see the Pokie Dot paper piceing and the Style too.......

again here's more Pokie Dot paper piecing .......

and the sentiment on the inside printed on my computer, the frame and panel cut with the Wonky dies...
That's Belle for today, I'll be doing Monica soon..........

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!
