Flippin' Golfer....

Today I finished up the Golfer from Flippin' stamps.... he is so cute in his puffy pants and plaid socks...
Stamped him using memento Tuxedo Black onto Watercolor paper, then colored him with Stampin' Up Watercolor Crayons and my Aqua pen.
If you enlarge the pic I think you can see how I used RockCandy Stickles on the Beer foam and some Silver Liquid Pearles on the golf club shaft....

and here's his back view and the border stamp in the middle of the card...

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Seize the Day

Morning!!
Today I needed some Sun so I did these two cards.
I just love the Sunny look of these very similar cards.  I used the CTMH stamp set called"Something Splendid" (D-1424), it's a double stamping technique that I used Honey and Sunny Yellow inks. Some thinks I did the same on each like the layout and sayings, also I used Swiss Dots folder on the white background on both, the same border on both, ribbon color but there's a few little changes that I'll explain down further.

On this one I backed the flower with a lite green and just sponged the edges with black, I also used Butterscotch and Espresso dimensional Pearls on the center of the flower. On the Swiss Dots background was sponged with Citrus Leaf.  And then I did a Bow on this one.

Now the difference on this one is I put Black behind the flower and the Swiss Dots instead of just sponging.  I also did the crinkle ribbon thing with No bow.
Even thow these are little changes it really makes a difference.

this is the inside.  I showed the top so you could see how I did the ribbon to hid the seam from the black, I did that on both.  and used the same saying on the inside.

LOVE this saying by SU... In fact love the whole set called "Favorite Thoughts" there cute but sassy too....

This is a shot of all the STUFF I used,,,,I think...
I might add this kind of pic for each post... don't know if you like seeing this or not so let me know.
That's it for today!!  Think I'll do something different again... this one was fun and made me feel good, and that's what we should be doing, Right?  Do what makes us feel good!
PS:  Finished my Tree, almost finished decorating the house... Yea!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Happy Hauntings!

Hi Everyone!!
Today I did something compleatly different than what I've been doing for almost a month now..... I did a Halloween card....
Now I'm not usually big on Halloween but I got this free stamp set from CTMH and had to try it out, its called Thriller (D1442) and the Chandelier came from an OLD Clear Stamps I had by Heidi Swapp.
Here's the front.

This close up you can see the Adirondack Dimensional Pearls in Eggplnat around the outher edge, then Lettuse aroung the orange, and Butterscotch around the yellow in the backround area.  I also used some Liquid Pearls Silver Pearl on the tips of each candle and then when that dried I added a little Stickles-Crystal.

Now for the inside.... I used the same background paper and then used an old Fiskars corner punch on that.  I added the large labe from Spellbinder Labels Four set and stamped the bottom with that FREE CTMH set Thriller (D1442).
Hope you enjoyed the change, because I sure did... may do a few more of these before moving on to something else... who know??
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Christmas 4

Hi Everyone!!
Today I just finished another Christmas card I can make a bunch fast.  I used Spellbinders Standard Circles Large #2 and Small #1, 2, 3, for the balls.... then cut paper for behind that. It was kind of tirckey to find something that would look nice behind the white but I think it's ok.....?

On this one I used Adirondack Dimensional Pearls-Cranberry on the Red dots... I was supprised how much it changed the look.   The Merry Christmas is from CTMH set "Wonderful Season" (C-1293).

This one I used paper that looked like beads that had gold on it already.  It dosent show up much on this pic but looks nice in person.

The inside I stamped with from CTMH set "Peace on Earth" (D1243). I used a 1" circle punch for this and back with the same paper as the front.
This simple design was fast and fun and I can make a bunch easily...
The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated envelop cost 2.50/each, and like anything hand made no two will be exactly alike, maybe very close but can't promise.

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Tea Bags are like Woman???

Morning Everyone!!!
Will this morning I got up and as I looked at the cards I did yesterday I could not decide which I liked best..........What do you think??????
With or Without that is the question....?????
I really like them both but... I wanted to know what other card gals though of my new discovery of Liquid Pearls.  I've been trying it on everything and I might have gone a little WILD!!
OK here we go,
Below is my card front, the gal on the front is from Close to my Heart stamp set Ms. Gardener (D1344) Love this whole set but did not get around to using it till now.... then I didn't even use it for gardening.... Oh will back to my post.  I stamped her using StazOn ink and then colored her with SU- Watercolor Crayons and an Aqua Pen. The saying came form the Stampin' Up set Favorite Thoughts... this set came with 4 sentiments and all 4 are sassy... love them! I also used 2 Spellbinder dies, the tag was cut down form the Fancy Tags set and the yellow arch behind the tag was cut down from the Labels-13 set.  I also used the large oval punch by SU for the rust color behind the tag.
Anyway this is the card With OUT Liquid Pearls card.

This is WITH Liquid Pearls.   What do you think.
below are the close up and inside shots too.

Here's a close up of the detail work at the bottom of the front, I use two border punches by Martha Stewart.  My bow was made using the Bow-Easy.... Love that thing, the ribbons are from Michael's I think.
Close up With OUT Liquid Pearls.

WITH Liquid Pearls.

and here's the inside.  The whole saying is "A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water. by-Eleanor Roosevelt" I used the first part "A woman is like a tea bag." on the front and rest on the inside. Had to stamp it twice and cut it apart
No I didn't use any Liquid Pearls on the inside, I though it would have made it to thick looking....
Will that's it for today, Let me know which you like best, I really need a second, third, and forth opinion on this!
The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated envelop cost 3.50/each, and like anything hand made no two will be alike, maybe very close but can't promise.

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

2 Ducks!!

2 Ducks....I just LOVE these little guys, they are from a CTMH stamp set called Makin' Waves (C1365).  It has 5 of these little guys playing in the water doing all kinds of cute stuff, with 2 sayings and a few other little watery things.  Just love this pack!

Today I tried something new, Dimensional Pearls by Adirondack or Ranger.  On this close up shot below you can see where I dotted the Terra Cotta color  around the edge of the papers... What do you think?
It's very easy to do, I had never seen it before till I was looking at this blog; http://sunnysankari.blogspot.com/
and she uses them on just about all her cards...
They come in a little plastic bottle (1-oz) just like the Stickles with the pointy noise for easy dabbing. She also use the Liquid Pearls by Ranger, these seam to be more pearley and are in a smaller bottle (1/2-oz) but I'm sure they will go a LONG way...

Here are the 2 Ducks side by side.... the one on the left has Green spots-dots in the corners and the top and bottom of the yellow lable.

and here's the inside of them both.

The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with matching envelope cost 3.50/each, and like anything hand made no two will be alike, maybe very close but can't promise.
I had a ball playing with the Liquid Pearls and plan on using them often.
Thanks again for stopping by!!
Hope you enjoyed today's post!
