A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Dotty of "Dotty A Designs!".  Like most of us Paper Crafters, I started my Love of paper and crafts back when I was a child getting ready for school.  I LOVED going and getting papers and pencils, and pads, just all the Stuff to play... I loved putting it on my special shelf for school supplies. However I did not love school, never did. I did alright but.... even did some collage but never really liked school... Then after my 36-year career in telecommunications I took an early out package several years ago when my Mom and Dad's home was destroyed by hurricane Andrew in Port Charlotte, Fl. Dad's in his 90's and Mom's in her 80's so it's a special time for me to have them so close.  After the hurricane we moved them up to central Florida just a few doors down from us.  For some reason that house went up for sale the day after the hurricane hit... It was meant to be!!!  That was the journey that took me to my fist love, Paper Crafting. Since I was home full time I started getting my pic organized,,,,, that's when I become a Creative Memories Consultant.  That lasted about 3 years, I still love and use there products but just did not want to be tied down to just CM things... My Paper Crafting wings were growing, then I was introduced to card making by another Dear friend that had been stamping for years... Will that was the beginning for me,,, I just LOVE stamping and making cards and other paper projects and that's how I ended up where I am today.  An avid card maker with other paper tendencies on the side.
