"Duct Tape"

Today I have another Manly card to show....

This image I stamped years ago when I was just learning to stamp and a few gals that were prows came over and let me use there stamps... I came across this one and another one that I stamped 2 or 3 times each and just never did anything with them....Why I don't know. .....?

For the background I used some old colume pad paper that I've got loads of... backed it with some orange.

The image I colored with SU-Watercolor crayons and a few Memento Markers.  For the wood I cut some wood paper I had left over from the last card I made and ran it thru the wood embossing folder, then popped it all up using Fun Foam.  

Here's the inside, used a few different stamp set for the words here.... and used up my last piece of wood too.

Relax

Hi All!!!
Today I'm posting a manly card,,,, Yea, aren't they the hardest to make.
Will this is what I made my Stepson for Father's Day and also to Congrats him on a promotion he just received too!

the image by Serendipity Stamps call Grill-1266G I stamped on Canson Watercolor paper, I've used this stamp a few time now and always love how it turns out.... use SU-watercolor crayons to color and for the clouds too... The clouds die is by IO called Puffy Clouds 068-A and I used all three dies that came with this set.

This background paper is My Mind's Eye called On the Bright side, and the base of the card is Neenah Desert Storm, just LOVE this heavy paper for the base of my cards. 

Here's a close up so you can see how I popped up the image using Fun Foam and a few of the clouds too.

I won a BLOG Hop !!!!

Hi Everyone!
If your still checking my blog it's been a month since I've posted anything.... been so busy with family things I just could not find time to craft and blog....
BUT I did particapate in Jo's Blog Hop for her Birthday and a Give-A-Way back in May... Yes you guessed it I WON.... I can only remember winning 1 other blog hop and really had quit doing them... but something said, Go Ahead, Try It.... and I did and WON!!!!!
Just Look at all the Wonderful things in this .... I could not believe it!!!!  It all came in two boxs......

This is a shot of EVERYTHING.... I tried to get it all in the pic...just all sourts of GOOD STUFF!!!

This is the 1st box I opened... Not only did it have 4 differnt Beautiful paper packs, but it had a We R memory keepers Gift Box punch board.... a Colorbok chipboard book and papers to match the shape, a book call; The Photo Scribe, How to write the stories behind your photographs....a Teresa Collins vintage stamp set, Wood embossing folder, 3-pks metal charms, buttons, ribbon, sequens, roll of Jewel border, SU-Magic Mesh..... and one more thing,,, look at the next pic.....

this was the 2nd box.... OMG... can you believe it... this is one of thoes michings that heats up the pre-glued spins for your pages.... always wondered if I needed one of these and now I have one.... Oh My Goodness....

1st Christmas Card........

Yes, yes I know .... not Christmas Cards yet...... but I had to try out this new stamp set I just got by Art Impressions called Mini Front & Back Elf & Reindeer Set - 4507...this card is the Reindeer.....

Just look at the Cute little Butt..... 

And here is inside, very simple but cute too.... 

The half circles at the bottom are from the circles I cut out for the little deer....

Card in a Box for Mother's Day

Today I finished my Mom's Mother's day card..... I made her a card in a box... she loves 3-D card so I know she is going to love this one....I found this last year on a blog by Tina Weller she even has a video on this link.  She made several different ones all very pretty, much more so than mine...

My first couple of pics are with the card closed, you'll see a little blue clip in the middle to get the pic of how it will look when she pulls it out of the envelope. So pretend the little blue clip is not there....

this is the front, I need to add Happy Mother's Day yet......maybe in the clouds.

this is the back.... 

so as soon as I take the clip off or pull it out of the envelope it starts to open like this.........

so now I'm ready for Mom's day..... I'll have to get her a real plant too of course.  She may like this card more thow because she won't have to water this....

Bug Box....

I should have waited till today to post my bug cards so I could have showed you the box....
Just finished the box and it looks so cute together....I'm going to give it as a gift to a Dear Friend of mine I had not see is several months..... sham on me...

and a little bit of a side view... Just had to add the ribbon and slip in a bag for her....
