Here's a look back at "2011"

I got this idea from a blog friend of mine (Thanks Glenda) that posted several of her cards from 2011 and thought it would be fun to do the same.
So this is what I decided to do.... pick one post from each month so that would be 12 things....
Here's my top 12 picks from "2011"

January, can you guess what this was for???

February I created this borders folder to take with me shopping and to help me pick what I wanted to used on my projects too.

March I needed to make some Sympathy cards, this was one I picked....

April I was moving my craft room.... what a mess I had.... to be honest, I'm still moving stuff around!

May, this is the card I made for Mom for Mother's day!

June, just got some stamps by Mo and was having a ball coloring and using them....

July, Cards we did for the 1st Card Class I had with a friend of mine....

August, Tea Box's...need I say more.  I went wild making these...!!!

September I got some Rubbernecker stamps... I just love them and really enjoyed making these.

October I was going thru my stamps that I had never used and found my Flippin' stamps... OMG what fun are these... you get the front and the back view of each one....

November I was frantically working on my Christmas cards... and cards from Mom and Dad too... How did I ever get it all done I have no idea.....!

December I need a breather from all the Christmas STUFF... and really enjoyed making this cutie!

Will that's it for "2011".

Fishin'

Hi Everyone!!
Will this year is winding down... and yesterday I just wanted to do something NOT Christmasie... I am differently Red and Greened out......
I had order this Penny Black stamp called Gone Fishin' back in November but with all the Stuff coming up had no time to play... so here it is....

This stamp was all one piece but after stamping it and coloring I decided to cut it into 3 pieces... on the stamp it had each little shell tied together so I though I'll just cut them apart and tie them together....

Here you can see the little ties I did.....
I didn't do the inside yet thought I could use this for a get well or birthday so will wait to see what I decide.....
Here's the things I used;
  • Penny Black  stamp / Gone fishin'
  • The words; Fishin' and the livin' is easy... I did on my computer and then cut it out
  • Memento Rich Cocoa ink
  • Stampin'Up Watercolor Crayons for all the coloring (with an extra small Aqua Pen)
  • Paper used; Watercolor paper and brown Creative Memories
  • Finished Card Size 3.5 x 6 1/4"

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

December Birthdays!

I know it's been a while since I've posted but time has just gotten away from me....
Can't believe I have time today to do this but here I am....
This was our sons Birthday card from earlier this month...
He loves to fish so this was right up his alley.

Had this CTMH stamp set that I got a few years back and had never used... will this was just the ticket for this card.  I used some wire I had from something and wound it around from the pole to the fish...

Here's a better look at how I did the wire.....

And this is the inside... can you tell he already had received this.....?
I left the border open across the top so we could put a gift card in there for him...
He loved it... will he loved the gift card anyway...!

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

WOYWW-131

WOYWW
 (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday)
Every Wednesday Julie Dunnit hosts a gathering of crafters of all kinds from everywhere to share what they are working on, by taking a pic of your play area. It's really fun to see all the different things people from all over the world are working on and I must say I've meet some very interesting people from Julie's sit. Thanks Julie!!!!

Will here's mine for today;
I had to make something for Mom to put little gifties in for our Family Get Together this weekend.... so I remembered some little Bags I had and tried to remember how I did them before....
Here they are after I glued the bows on and letting them dry a little before I take some pics........

Here are all 4 finished with bows and all....

And here the inside of one so you can see how I did that...
The bags are 3 1/2 x 2 x 6 3/4 Celebrate It Kraft #1's
I cut 2 1/5" off the top of the bags to make them shorter....
Then I used a Martha Stewart corner punch on the corners and center of the bag top.....
I used K&Company Die-Cut Cardmaking Pad for my outside paper,
I left it 9" long but made them only 3 1/4" wide, then foled it in half...
That's the front and back.. and just taped it to the back of the bag...
Then I just decoreted each one a little different
Add a Velcro thingie to close it...
That's it...

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!
