EASY Glitter Picker Upper!!!!

Hi Everyone!
I've been cleaning up my cutting and work area and needed to get all the glitter and dusty stuff off.  I remembered seeing on one of the blogs I watch this gal used a Lint Remover to pick up all the glitter, SOooooo...............
This was a good time to try it,,, I went looking for my VERY Old Lint picker upper and there it was hanging like a limp forgotten thing in the corner of my close closit... so I gave it a try... and Oh it worked so good I had to share this Great Easy Idea with you....

Here's another shot of my poor old used Lint Picker Upper.

And here's where I'm pulling off a layer of the tape to get a fresh start....
This works the best of anything I've used.  I tryed the tacky cloth and damp paper towles, they all work but you have to touch it.... with this you just hold the handle and go.. Then peal a new layer and a fresh start!
LOVE it!!
If your using somthing that you like let me know I'm always looking for thing to make my life easy!!

Hope you Enjoyed!!

Christmas 8

Hi Everyone!!
Today I finished up the last of my Christmas cards I think.........!
Maybe!
With this one I used my CM tag punch on Olive green paper then stamped with CTMH  Vintage Christmas set (D1166)the 2 pieces that I layered on the tag, last I just tied a piece of ribbon to finish it off. The Merry Christmas is from CTMH set Peace on Earth (D1243) and used two SU punches and popped them on with Dimensionals. The background I used CM paper Coco with the Spellbinders Labels Four #6 for the right side only.

Here's a close up of the front so you can see the layers better.

And here the inside, I used the verse from CTMH Peace on Earth (D1243), and the holly in the corner came from CTMH Vintage Christmas (D1166). The border at the bottme I just used to different border punches one from Martha Stewart and the other is an OLD Fiskars.  Then I ran a piece of 1/4" Score tape down and ran the gold ribbon on top to hold it in place.
Will I'm about Christmas Card pooped.... I'm sure I'll do a few more but think I'll take a breather for now.
Hope you enjoyed my Christmas deluge!

Christmas 7

Hi Everyone!!!
Will I'm starting on my own cards now for Christmas.... Yea!!!
I've very pleased how this turned out, it looks elegant but simple too.
I used the Noel from a CTMH set called "Peace on Earth"(D1243).

Here's a close up of my bow made with my Bow-Easy....

And here's the inside, I used the same CTMH set for the verse and the holly in the corner came from "Vintage Christmas"(D1166) set. The Spellbinders Borderabilities Lattice across the bottom.

Now I just have to make a bunch more.....oh goody!
Thanks for stopping by again!

Tape-Low Take Artist

Hi Everyone!!
Here's somthing I've been looking for that you might be intrested in too.
You know when your using your Spellbinder dies and your trying to place the die on something you have already stamped or your trying to save paper and get several things close to the next...... Will this tape is just the thing!
I've been trying everything and all have worked ok till I spotted this at my New Local Michaels store.
It's made by Scotch and it's called Low Tack Artist Tape, a little price (4.99/10yds) but I had to try it.  Boy was I glad I did too!

Here's the first two pices I've been using for a few days now, I know I've used it as least 18 or 20 times each and still going with them today..... so I guess for the price it's well worth it.
Here's what I've been using it for.
When I cut with my Spellbinders dies I always want to do the embossing too and sometimes the paper falls out of the middle of the die and you have to lay it in the middle and hope it stays there when you lay the rubber over the top.... mine usually stayed in place but sometimes it would be off a little.  Most people would not notice it but I did and willlllll...... Anyway below see how I used it to center on my thin strip of green, (these are my same 2-pices I've been using too).

This is after I ran it thru my Big Shot to cut it.  I removed the outside paper already.

This is what it looks like after I ran it thru the embossing... see how it's indented in the middle of the tape?

And here it is compleated.... no sign of the tape At ALL!

I'm sure there's other tape out there that does this too but this is the first I've found.  So if you know of another one please let me know!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Christmas 6

Hi Everyone!!
Will today I'm working on cards again..... Here's a close up of my #6 Christmas card!!
Not Bad Hah??
Yep my bow is made with the Bow-Easy and I used a SU punch on the Merry Christmas and layered that on top of a Spellbinder Fancy Tags.
Here's a view of the whole front.
I used the largest Spellbinders Labels 4 for the left edge only by just weaving the paper under the die on just one side and left the rest of the paper on top of the die.  I had never tryed this before but think it worked well.

and this is the inside, I used a Martha Stewart border punch at the bottom and layered it on top of the same green as the Fancy tag on the front.
Hope you enjoyed todays card as much as I did creating it.
The size of the completed card is 5.5 x 4.25 and will fit a A2 Envelope.
This card with decorated envelop cost 3.00/each, and like anything hand made no two will be exactly alike, maybe very close but can't promise.

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!
