I almost forgot about this.... I've been working on several projects and getting ready for a few things too..

Here's a Hunting Log Book I made for a Hunting Show my hubby is going to be selling his metal things at and asked me if I wanted to sell some of my cards and things in his booth..... Will isn't that nice of him...!!! So I've been getting some Ideas together and trying to make a few up to see what he thinks...

I've got tons of ideas but short on time..... as always. 

I'll post later the inside of the Log book.

I saw this little Tea Box on a Glynda's blog MagPie's Corner and had to try it..... This is my version, not as fancy as Glynda's but I'm pleased with it, after all it's my first one right?....

I still need something on top but wanted to post this anyway...

Here's the inside, I changed mine some from the original to have a flip open top.. it worked out pretty good if I must say so myself.

I  can't believe it!!!!

This past week I received a surprise comment on my WOYWW from a blog friend of mine Shaz or better know as Silverwolfcards. She said she had an award for me on her blog, since I love visiting her blog to see what kind of project she has gotten into this time I rushed over there to see what awaited me and here it is:

MagPie's Corner, This is the gal that got me started with WOYWW. She does Beautiful work.

The Crafty Frugalista , what I liked about her blog is takes something simple and makes if better.

Peggy apl seeds, here's another gal that does it all, she paints, she alters, she does cards.....

Paper and Ink Playground, she is so talented, I love her work and enjoy visiting her blog.

The Spotted Chick, now this gal has a sense of humer... her cards just make me smile!

Scrappy Sticky Inks Mess, this is another FUN blog to visit.. always something new to try here.

And the 7 random things about myself..... will lets see......

1. I'm retired and never ware a watch now.... never.
2. I love my flowers and plants almost as much as playing with paper.
3. Learned to sew from my Mom and use to sew everything I wore.. not any more...
4. Love long walks in the woods, no matter how many times you walk the same path you see something new each time.
5. Had horses when I was a kid... Loved riding everyday.
6. Love to read mysteries and true life...
7. And still love my hubby every after being together over 20-years.

Celebrate!

Hi Everyone!!!

Today I finished up a card I made and did NO stamping at all.....!

Can you believe it?  Me either...

Will I challenged myself to do two things...

1. No stamping (very hard to do)
2. Use Creative Memories only (almost)

and I think I succeeded...you be the judge.

I know, I know it's not my usually colors but it is really pretty in person, hope that shows thou for you to see too.

Here's the front. 

I used a piece of scrap CM paper I had from the old paper series called Gazabo (2006-7 I think).  Then I used Delight Paper Ribbon at the top and bottom.  For the flower I used both the Delight Paper Flowers and a die cut flower from Fun & Fab.  All these were layered on a background of CM-Espresso brown.  The Celebrate! tag at the bottom came from the Fun & Fab die-cut set and I cut a border sticker with the word Celebrate and put that on the tag.  I did use 2 Non-CM brads on the tag too. 

Both the Tag and the Flower were poped up to give it a little demition.  I also used CM-Brown Chalking ink on all the edges of everything.

 Here's a close up of the front.......

and here's the inside.  I used more of the Delight Paper Ribbon down the side and 2 corners from the Fun & Fab die-cut pack.  I also used the yellow center frome the Fun & Fab set then placed a vellum quote from Expressions of Her.

Even thow this was out of my comfort zone not to do any stamping I did enjoy the chalange and happy with the results too.

Morning All!

Haven't been posting to much the last couple of days been under with weather.... still not right but then who knows this may be the new right for me.....Te he..

Anyways... thous of you that have been following me know I had my 1st Card Class this past Saturday, and I was a little nervous about it....

Will they LOVED it..

and have asked me to have another... !

Hi Everyone!!!

This week I'm getting ready to do something New.... !!!

A dear friend of mine is a Creative Memories Consultant and she holds weekly and bi-weekly crops that I sometimes attend. 

Several times she has talked about having me teach a Card class for her..... willllll this weekend we're going to do it and Saturday will be my FIRST Card Class...

I hope I don't disappoint her and her ladies. 

I've already posed one card I'm going to do and here's another one...

Not sure where I got this card from but Thank You who ever it was that had it on there blog!!!!

This card was one of the first cards I made when I started making cards, so though it would be good for a beginner class.

Here's a close up of the medalion and I used a brad in the middle.

Thru the years I've used this card several times, everyone loves it! 
I've used it to send Recipes to friends and family too...
