Yea!!! It's Wednesday!!

Here's my mess... I'm still working on my Flippin' stamps and trying to make cards with each image I have ..

After a blog friend of mine (Glenda) let me in on the right stamp pad to use on Watercolor paper I've been Soooo stampin'... I was using StazOn but it would not stamp the whole image properly and I wasted several sheets of paper... and you know how us crafty gals hate WAIST!!!.  So anyway Miss Glenda told me she used Memento, and let me tell you it's like night and day, really!  I've been stamping everything....

Back to todays pic...

Yep, you can see my NEW Memento's stamp pad on the top of a few other's I have out. 

After I finish coloring this guy I'll start doing the cards....

Flippin' What?

Working on these flippin' stamp sets again.   I doing a few of the men because I need some Manley cards....don't we all?

Here's the first one so far.....

Here he is in all his glory..... the beer is yellow and then I put some Crystal effects so it would look wet...can't see it here but it looks good in person.

don't know if you can really see it but I used Stickles Rock Candy on the beer foam, and Liquid Pearls on his buttons. I put some Liquid Pearls around the barrel too. 

And here's his back view... if you enlarge the pic you'll see the crack in his butt... OH my...

I didn't color him in the inside just stamped him with black ink. 

The saying came with this sit too.. .

He was really fun to do because he's just so funny looking and you really can't do to much wrong with him...

Absolutely NOTHING........

That's right nothing... I cleaned my desk off last night and havent' done a thing since.

Sooooooo, I thought I would show you what I came up with for a Light Box...

I've been wanting to buy a light box to take pics in for some time now but just could not spring for the $60-$80 bucks they cost, so,,,,don't laugh now!

I had a piece of Project board in the closet for I don't know how long, Years...... and tried to use it as a back drop... It was just to big.  So I though let me cut it... I just slit the fold up on both sides about 14" and made a crease across to both cuts and folded it up. Then I used big clips to hold the sides in place.  Put it on an Old crummy desk I've been wanting to get ride of and clamped a light with a 60-watt bulb and there it is...

It all folds flat once I take the clips off for storage, but have just left it there for now. May still cut it down some but for now it's finished....

Now you can laugh!!!!!

Aw! NUTS.....

Yep, I liked this so much I had to make some extras.... so here they all are...

Hope your having a GREAT 4th of July!!!

We just finnished a BIG batch of Ribs.... MMMmmmmm, Yellow Rice, Slaw, Corn on the Cob... and Texas Toast.... I am sssoooooo FULL.....

We're getting our firewords ready now... my husband is the worst.... he's just like a little kid when it comes to the 4th of July....!

Belated Birthday!

We all do it... know there's an important birthday coming up but some how forget it.....

Now for a person that makes cards that's really bad.... but it happens more than I'd like to admit!

Here is a card I made for a dear friend of mine that had a BD last week and I missed it :(

I just love this little Guy... he's so busy doing his important work of collecting Nuts he forget!

Here's a close of of the layers.  It's a simple card but sends the right message I hope!

That's it for today, even thow I ready to mail this out it's still going to be 2 days till it goes any ware since it's Sunday today and tomorrow's a holiday too.... I just can't catch a brake on this one!
