Snowflakes Sparkle

Yep! I'm still doing Christmas and may be for the rest of the week I think....
As I posted yesterday I cased this idea too from Mishelle Wooderson, she has such clean a fresh ideas I just love her work.  As with my card yesterday I used different papers and punches but cased her layout.
Here's my version.let me know what you think;

Here you can see the front and the inside at the same time...

here's a close up of the snow... I cut wavey white card stock and then just glitter the edge to make the drifts show up, very simple.  The little guy on the sleigh is a Papertrey ink stamp and then cut it out with there die... just popped him up a little.

and here's my version of the snow flakes... I used my Creative memories Snowflake punch and then cut it out with a CM circle punch and then used the next size circle punch for the brown craft, a little red spunging sets it off.  A littel button & a little string...
I very pleased with the outcome and plan to make another version with different papers of this one.

Here's the things I used;
  • Papertrey ink stamp set / In the Meadow
  • Papertrey ink die set / In the Meadow
  • Martha Stewart border punch / Rain Drop
  • Creative Memories Snowflake punch and Circle punches
  • Close to my Heart / Prisma Glitter
  • Memento Rich Cocoa ink
  • Paper used by; Stampin' Up, Creative Memories, and some unknow??

Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Christmas Deer

Hi Everyone!
Will I'm finally back for a while, been out of town then it took me forever to get back in the swing of things... but here I am... Yea!
Yesterday I used a New set of stamps and dies I ordered from Papertrey ink, had never used there things before but all is made in the USA so had to try them.... and will they are very nice!
But you be the judge:

The Papertrey ink set I used for the deer and tree are from there set called In the Meadow, and I also got the Die set that goes with this too.  That's how I cut the tree out- SO EASY!  then I used Martha Stewart tinsel glitter Olivine, got that last year off the SALE table, yea!  the sentiments are from a dollar stamp set from 4Klear Stamps.  I stampe everything inside and out using Memento's Rich Cocoa.

here's a close up of the tree with the tinsel... the pics really don't show how pretty this looks.

and here's the inside, I restamped the tree in a lighter green and place a strip of the DP paper over it and ten used the Merry Christmas from the same dollar stamp set and the rest from CTMH set-Peace on Earth D-1243.  Love this set too has all kinds of Christmas sayings.

If any of you gals use Papertrey ink dies let me know how you used the dies that are in groups... I tried cutting them out then stamping them but that did not seam to be right ...???? any suggestions?

For some reason my pics are YCKY... though I had this figured out before I left, gusee not.....

Flippin' Golfer....

Today I finished up the Golfer from Flippin' stamps.... he is so cute in his puffy pants and plaid socks...
Stamped him using memento Tuxedo Black onto Watercolor paper, then colored him with Stampin' Up Watercolor Crayons and my Aqua pen.
If you enlarge the pic I think you can see how I used RockCandy Stickles on the Beer foam and some Silver Liquid Pearles on the golf club shaft....

and here's his back view and the border stamp in the middle of the card...

Flippin' In the Tub!

Here's a card I made from the Flippin' stamp set... I just Love there stamps, there so much FUN to color, and to do my coloring I use a Aqua Pen and Stampin' Up Watercolor Crayons... don't know why but I seam to have better luck with these than I do with pens... I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Watercolor paper.

Here's the front, I tried to get the shine on the water an the foam from the beer but it just would not show up...

here's his backside... I like this view even better than the front... Hmmmmm, maybe I'll make one with this on the front of the card...
Too Cute!
