Joy & Laughter

Today I made a card from things I received from the blog hop on Carolyn's blog back at the end of May for SCACD" Natural Beauty.  What a beautiful collection by Carmen Medlin they have...

I was lucky enough to be a winner and received EP Paper Pad-Be Mine, a bag of lace, flowers and other goodies, and a Beautiful card that Carolyn made me.... Here's a pic of the Candy.

So you know I had to make a card.... Here's the front of the Joy & Laughter card...

Oh gosh! I just love these papers and it was something that I would normally not have bought myself.  But from this will have to start getting DIFFERENT things....

Tractor Card...

Hi Everyone!

Will I finished my Tractor card this weekend and did not get time to post it...

Here's the front... I used some brads on the Happy Birthday and 2 corner bards too.. don't usually use brads, forget about them till it's all together, then it's to late to put them one.. but this time I remembered... YEA!!

this is the inside,  I used the part I cut out from the front at the bottom and just cut part of the ovel off. 

I'm thinkin of giving this to my hubby unless I make another one I like better between  now and his BD in July...

Man cards are so hard to make.... but this one went together very easy.

Better Late than Never!!!

Will I took this pic and then forgot to post.... now what's with that? 

I've been reading on a few blogs lately about Zentangle or Tangles.... and after checking out the www I had to try it.... below is my 1st try at Tangling not sure of the words yet but I'm going to keep trying different ones and see what I come up with... So many that I've found look 3D and very, I don't know, addictive.

Humming Bird Gift Set

Hi Everyone!

It's going on a week now since I started this Humming Bird Gift Set. 

Will I finished it today!!!!!

YEA!!!!!

Here's a picture of all the cards, yes they are all the same but for different occations like Birthday, Thank You, Hi, Just because...My girlfriend asked me to make her a set all the same like this and it went well as long as I as able to work on them but I had things come up and was delayed a few times. 

But there finished now!!

No this is not a card......... it's the box I made to hold the cards......Neat Ha?

Which I could say I though this up all by my lonesome but no..... I got it from a blog I watch daily called

Amazing Paper Grace by Becca.  All the instructions and mesurments can be found on  the Our Daily Bread Designs web sit... Check it out you will love it!  I did change mine a little to fit the card size I made mine one inch less on one side...

Anyways  I decorated the outside very much the same as the cards with a few things different. 

Here's a peek inside......the ribbon will tie it closed with a nice bow.

And here's the inside with all 6 cards and envelops.... not bad Ha?

Know I'm going to be using this card box again... love the look and it's really very simple to do too.

Here's my work area today.....

I'm working on a set of cards for a friend of mine and she wants' the same thing on the outside but wants to have differed kinds of cards.  Like Birthday, Get well, Thank You, etc... So today I'll finish up coloring my humming birds and then start on the card bodies... They should all look like the one I'm using as a modle kind of in the midle left of the pic. 

Will off I go to see what everyone else is working on.....see Ya!
