Winter Berries Samples ?

Hi All,
WOYWW  and I have a question for you today.
I was trying something new with this stamp set.... I've seen so many gals stamping white  on dark papers and it always looks to pretty so I tried it.... tell me what you think.
The one on the right I stamped it with CTMH White Daisy pigment ink and used Stampendous! Star Dust Transparent embossing power... I over heated it in the middle where the berry's are so the white and sparkle didn't show up very will but it did on the ends....
And the one on the left I stamped it with CTMH White Daisy pigment ink and used White embossing power.  it's a real stark white and not sure if I like that....
What do you think??
Any advise is welcome!

I LOVE to read ALL Comments, so please leave one!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

My favorite is the one on the right. I think it is just a matter of preference and what you "like".
As for giving advice, I don't think you need any as these are both very pretty!

I like the one on the right too, the first one is too stark. Even though you over embossed the one on the right it looks much more natural as leaves are often more than one colour. I like the white edges too, they look frosted. Thanks for the sock love, not sure I'm really talented in that direction just good at following patterns exactly I guess!

It is in the eye of the beholder. I think the one on the right is more elegant but muted. The one on the left is jumping out. What I do is to try some other powders clear, detail, gold, silver until you find a combination that pleases me. I think working on craft is hard but some really love it. Peg 45

I love the contrast of the one on the left. At JOFY's class we did stamping with white chalk paint onto black card & it gave a great chalkboard effect - maybe you could try it with that lovely stamp ? Ali #13

They're both great, Dotty - but I prefer the one on the right - more subtle. Have a lovely week, Chris # 23

Hmm... both are stunning but I think if I had my arm twisted behind my back I'd choose the left one.
It's so vibrant... but then the right one is softer and more muted.
Oh no... I can't choose sorry. Don't make me!
Have a great day and carry on creating ;D

I like them both and I think if you were'nt seeing them together you wouldn't notice how bright the white is.
Hope you have a good crafty week, Angela x 39

They're both beautiful and I suppose it's a question of personal taste. I think I slightly prefer the left one as it looks as if the edges of the leaves are frosted and they stand out and make a statement. But that's my personal taste.
Sorry I'm late this week. I was busy last night.
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.
Have a good week,

I like both of them, Dotty, and I'll tell you I can take forever to make a decision. I looked at both of them for the longest time and I finally decided that I would like the one on the left one day and the one on the right another day. See, that's how I am. The one on the left is very crisp and I'm really impressed with the look of it. The right has a subtle beauty.

Lovely, Dotty. I like them both equally - they are very different but both are very pleasing. It's a very nice stamp, too.

Happy belated WOYWW,
