Just a quick post of a new stamp I got.....

 

Now is that not a FUN stamp.... Oh my goodness.... 

This was my first time coloring it too so know I will be trying different flavors on the next one... it came with that cute saying too.... it's by Stamping Bella which I bought on line from a new store I found called Blitsy, here's the site, prices aren't bad either.....   https://blitsy.com/

Late Birthday!!

Why is it I make so many cards and I still send them late...... will anyway here's another BD card using Stampers Anonymous Bird Crazy stamp and die sets.... I must confess I stamped colored and die cut all the birds this week and now I'm using them on cards...
 this is the first one......

The base card is some old paper I've had by Scenic Route Paper Co.... it's nice and heave and double sided too, you'll see on the inside. I die cut the ballon and then popped the whole thing up and filled it with some bling I had... also used some google eyes on the bird too...

and here's a nother shot of the front, I think you can see how I popped things up better on this shot.


This is the inside... I like how it truned out, so now on the the other Birds.........

Great Things!!!!

Here's something a little different today.....
This is from a Flourishes stamp set called Fuchsias in Bloom (SS126),,, sadly Flourishes is no longer being made, so glad I have this one in my collection.
Here's the front.... I colored it with my Zig's brush pens, and used the Spellbinders die set called Resplendent Rectangles (S5-147)...

Now the butterflys I just cut out of some scrap papers I was using... they are so pretty all sparkly already so just had to do some fussy cutting......The top one I curved the wings a little and put some foam tape under the wings the other one I just left flat and attached it with foam tape too...

this saying came with this stamp set along with the border stamp I used across the top....

Hop! Hop!

Hi Again....
Let me show you two more cards I made using another Art Impressions stamp set called Hop Hop (UMU4388). What a FUN stamp this is, guess that's why I had to make two of them.....
Here we go..........

both of these I colored using my OLD set of SU-Watercolor Crayons, for the edges I used Ranger inks and a black Mementos marker just to make the die pop.  The die on the left is called Tile Works (S5-193) and the die for the right card is called Labels 40 Decacarative Elements (S4-467).
Here they are one at a time.

I only did the inside of the first card so far... not sure what I'll be doing with the second so left it blank for now.


This is from a Technique Tuesday stamp set called O Shoot (OhSho).... love this and know I will be using this one a lot.

Over the hill?????

Hi All,
Today I'm sharing 2 cards made almost the same way...... Both for men, the hardest cards for me to make, so when I get something that works I though I'd go with it.
Here we go.........

Yep this is another sexy older man...... just look at the legs on this guy.... OMG.
Be still my heart, Let me get back to the post here....
This is Norm from Art Impressions (UMI1240)  I did my coloring with Zig's again and used the saying from CTMH called Just a Number Occasions (D1514).  Papers are just old stash trying to use things I have, don't you have piles of beautiful paper you got for something and have left over's..... will for me it's TIME to use this paper up.

Those #@&* BIRDS!!!

Hi Everyone!

I know it's been MONTHS since I posted but had family things to do... Will be trying to post at lest once a week again but can't make any promises..... 

For today's post I'm sharing my card for my Hubby's BD coming up in July.... 

We had a dock put in a few months ago and the birds have been sitting and pooping all over it... Will this will not do to have poop all over so it's been a war for my Hubby and so much FUN to watch.... This stamp set by Art Impressions called Hollis (UMYY1901) captured him completely and had to do something for him with it...

here we go.

Now is this not just the most pissed off Bird watcher you have ever seen.....?
I used Water color paper then embossed the image... did my coloring with the ZIG clean color real brush and some Ranger inks for the edges.... On his BiNocks I put some Glossy Accents.  The saying I made on my computer and used a die to cut it out.  Its pushed up in the center and taped flat on both ends.

Now for the inside.... O M G


I know this is what our birds are saying.... but all hubby can see is the poop.....
Yes these are the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy (CMS212) set... and I used my Zig's again to color them... the two sayings in the bubbles I made on my computer and cut them out with the Die set from Lawn Fawn called A Birdie Told Me (LF485)... love this die set and have used it many times...
