Here's mine,,,,Yeaks!

I've been trying my hand a coloring, after pestering some of the ladies that I enjoy watching with all kinds of quesings.  I've been practicing, and practicing, and I'm not sure if it's helping.  I started using reinker for coloring and it's been a real chalange for me.  But I'm going to keep at it.....
I took this pic before I decided to stop coloring for a day or two clean up and make some cards.

With Sympathy

This week we had a very dear friend of the family pass on.  He would sit with my Dad while I would take my Mom shopping each week.  This man was so kind to my folks it was a pleasure to see him come.  Always full of energy and fun, you just looked forward to his visit. It was totally unexpected and will be missed greatly by both my folks and me too.
His wife is such a dear lady too and it just didn't seam like enough to send this card.

Hi Ladies!!
Today I was making an old card I did a few years back.  The flower and bee both are from SU-Bloomin' Beautiful set. And the saying is from CTMH-Card Sentiments D-1111 set.  I've been wanting to try my hand at coloring but haven't been to the craft store to get the Cold Press Water coloring paper so I tyred something else.   It's really not the look I wanted but I used it anyway because I could not wait any longer.  Call me impatient I guess..... I used SU-Glossy White paper for the flower, it kind of puddled up so I had to wait for it to dry after each color but I finally got this one done.  If I did maybe 5 or so and did all the same color on each one then when I went to do the next color it would be dry but ...... Now the little bee I just stamped directly on the CM-yellow card stock and inked him in. Below you'll see better pics.

Here's a close up of the flower........see the shin still on the stem?

And here's the little bee.  He's not bad but....
Anyway that's my try at coloring with NOT having the right stuff. I guess it's not that bad it's just not what I had in mind... Now if I was going for the gloss I wouldn't have that.. you just never have what you want when you want it I guess....

Hi Everyone!!!
Will this week I've been working on some Birthday cards... boy was I running low and needed to get a move on.  I used 4 different papers from Scenic Route Paper Co.  from my local craft store.  It's double sided which I love because it's colore coordinated from me.......Here I cut one piece with the big circles on it 4x5.25 and then cut in long ways at 1.5 and turned one over for the triangles....then sponged with black around all the edges...The border on this one is a corner punch from MS-Modern Garland in brown.  the WISH is from Fiskars-Make a Wish Quotes set.

Here's another paper from Scenic Route Paper Co. Same thing used the front and back of the paper.

Same thing except I used a differ MS corner punch this is Gothic Arches.

Same papers... Love this one too... Used the Spellbinder Fancy Tags for this too.

The quote on the inside is from the Same Fiskars stamps above, and I used it on all 4 cards on the inside...
I'm very please with how these turned out.  Once I got going I ended up make several of these with different Quotes on the inside.
Almost forgot I used the Bow Easy for all my bows...

Hope you Enjoyed!!

Lady Bug

Hi Everyone!
As I mentioned yesterday I was working on the Lady Bug from the same stamp set Inkadinkado-Mind Scapes-99121. This one I did a little different coloring, I used my CTMH exclusive Inks pens.  I think it turned out good but I still need t do some real work on my coloring.
For the border I used the same Martha Stewart corner punch Laurel Leaf. It looks completely different using it on pattern paper.  The Happy Birthday is from the CTMH set called Happy Birthday (C-1257). and the ribbon is from my stash I think it came from Michels.

Here's a better shot of the border.

and here's the inside... I used the same Lady Bug to stamp the background with CTMH Sweet Leaf, and the saying is from Fiskars-Make a Whish Quotes.
That's all I got for today,  I may try something different for tomarrow or the next day...
Thanks for stopping by again!
Hope you Enjoyed!!

Humming Bird

Hi Everyone!!
A few weeks ago I went shopping with a Girl Friend and of course we went to the Craft Stores..... I got a few new stamp sets that I just could not put down once I had them in my hands..... This is the Humming Bird from the Inkadinkado-Mind Scapes-99121 set. When you really look at this bird it's made up of butterflies and flowers... just so pretty. Every time I colored it, it's different. On this one I used water pencils and a blending pen.... I'm just starting to try coloring and reached out to a few of my Blog friends and received all kinds of help and advise. I'll be working on my coloring and can tell this is something I'm going to enjoy exploring and finding my niche.

Here's the front, look at the border I did, I used Martha Stewart's border punch Laurel Leaf across the top of the border and then I turned the Laural Leaf corner punch to do across the bottom of the border.  I Like this look with both borders together, almost like lace.

Close up of border...

Inside, I stamped the butterfly from the same set using CTMH inks-Sweet Leaf. The saying is from Cloud9-Simple Thoughts-Laughter.
Will that's it for today... I'm working on a Lady bug should have that posted by tomorrow I hope.
