(What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday)
Every Wednesday Julie Dunnit hosts a gathering of crafters from all over the world to share what they are working on with a pic of our play area. It's really fun to see all the different things people are working on from all over the world and I must say I've meet some very interesting people from Julie's site,
Thanks Julie!!!!!!
Thanks Julie!!!!!!
Will here's mine for today;
I've been seeing and hearing so much about the Ottlite Lites...I know they've been out for YEARSsssss, and I really did not want to buy another lamp but they had the OttLite Bulbs on sale for 40% off this week at JoAnns.... So I said to myself,,,, Self get a bulb and try it in the lamp you have to take pics for the blog.....
This first pic is with my 100-W GE bulb,,, kind of yellow and just not right......
This is with the Ottlite 100-W / 25-W bulb...Boy what a difference... I can't believe it.. this is without any touching up at all, I can't believe the difference it made on this test shot....
Will that's it for me today...!

Oh what a difference - maybe this is where I'm going wrong with my photography. Can you put these bulbs in a normal type of lamp or do you need a special OTTlamp as well?

Loving the bird and the dragonfly in either light! I do prefer the second really but they are both gorgeous. What a difference a light bulb can make. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #9
My Ottlite is the best thing I bought, fab for working in the winter or gloomy days and perfect for lighting projects for photos too! Take care and enjoy WOYWW, am working my way through the list. Zo xx 66
Wow...well guess where I am headed today...to get me a bulb!! Thank you for visiting and leaving the nice comment on my blog and good luck in winning the Cheery Lynn die prize package from Joan's Gardens!!
Really? It looks so completely different! I use Ott Lights in my craft room and always for photos, but I've never tried the bulbs in regular lamps. I like that idea -- Thanks! Must say that is a pretty stamp!
Lovely work - thanks for sharing.

I LOVE my OTT Lights. I use them every time I take a pictures. What a difference this makes. Great info Dotty.
I love my Ott light for working by.... but, never thought to photo under or near it... maybe it is not the same light as you are talking about? ... but, like you say...what a difference! wow

I never would have thought to put the OTTlite bulb in another lamp. Brilliant idea! And that is quite the difference in your photos, I will have to get one too!
xoxo Karen
Fabulous Dotty! I need to try that. I have a Ott lite.
Hey, check out my blog to see the tea box I created.
Wow, proof if it were needed! even inf it's the oldest product around, until you start using it, it really doesn't mean much, huh! I have a 'green' vision of a daylight bulb..you know, cost a fortune and will last for ten years? It's rubbish. Almost orange it's so yellow!!
Oh wow - what a difference. I don't have an ott-lite either. Looks like the bulb would be a great investment.
Just now getting around....
Hugs,
