Perty in Pink Gift Set

Hi Everyone!!!

Will today I finished up another Gift Set, while I was making it I kept thinking of a friend of mine soooo,,,, Yep I'm putting it in the mail tomorrow for her... Hope she likes it.

This is the Jr Pad...

boy this pic turned out ucky... and it's my fav the Comp-Book.. Check out the black border,,, do you know how I made that.........

Will I used the Martha Stewart Gothic Arches Corner punch, yes that's right Corner punch... I like it!! I got the idea from another blog I've just started watching here's the Link .

and of course I did a few Bookmarks with the same corner/border punch at the top.

Poke Dots Gift Set

Hi Everyone!!

I've been working on this Gift set for a friend of mine that has helped me in so many ways.  I wanted it to be FUN and uplifting, something that you grab first for each time you need to jot something down. And most of all easy to Spot........

Hope she likes it!!!

 This is the outside of a half of a Jr pad....

 this is the inside of the half of Jr. pad, I put a little pink flap on the cover to put coupons in maybe....?

 This is the whole Jr. Pad....

 I covered a 2 year calendar to match and even got the plastic cover back on.....yea!

 And of course my fav the Com-book, I love these....

 this is the inside of the Com-book with some Book marks I slid in the flap inside.

Don't think I'll see her for a while so I may mail it to her and give her a surprise... I know I love getting something in the mail and know she does too...

Never Ending Card

This week I was Blog Hoppin and came across a new blog and as always I checked out several pages of new blogs to see if theres anything I'd like to try.  I really which I could remember the blog I was visiting when I came across the Never Ending Card, and she even had a link on how to make it.  Here's the Link

it's a video but very easy to follow...

So anyway, I had to try it and this is what I came up with on my first try.  I know I'm going to make more of these but next time I'll have it planed it out a little better.

and that takes you back to the front.... can you believe it????? 

Once you open this card you can't stop opening it... I have to do it at least 2 times every time I start.... it's addictive... really.

Don't be afraid...it may look difficult but believe me it's soooo easy to make...the hard part for me was decorating it.  I'm still not happy with this one but it's for me to use as my guide.  Now that I can see, feel, touch, I'll know better how to tackle my next one.  Just go to the link I have above and it will walk you thru it with all the measurements too.

Happy Valentine #1

Happy Sunday!!!

Here's that card I was talkin about yesterday!! Yea!! My FIRST card for the New Year... Oh it feels so good to be at my craft table again.  And I went wild with all the goodies I put on this card.  I just wanted to use everything at once..and I may have....

This is a close up of the front. I just love all the parts and pieces on it... I wound 2 ribbons together and then used this gold fussy stuff I got from a discount Christmas bin somewhere, and just wound  that around too. I used stickers on the tag and then attached it with black string and a button.....

 Here's the whole front.....the corners I used a Martha Stewart corner punch, and a new shiny red doily I found this week, and two old Creative Memory's Heart punches. CTMH stamp set Heartthrob (D1309) old also....

This is the inside,  I had to use another doily (new) on the inside but this time it's white but the same size and shape, the more of the old CM hart punches and one new sticker.... Boy I used a lot of OLD things I had, that must mean I got a lot of STUFF!

I did this shot of all the things I used... and pulled together to make my card this time. Kind of Pinky, even the tape gun... Love that tape gun, I waited years before I got this because I though it was just to BIG to use.  But it's very light weight and balanced and the refills are at a very good price... So I got it about 6-months ago and LOVE it. So sorry I waited so long to get it, but so glad I did!!

Hi EveryOne!

Morning Everyone!

Will I'm finally back in town for awhile,,,,, YEA!!!! And I'm ready to start creating again. Started working on a Valentines card but not quite finished with it yet. Maybe later today or tomorrow.... Got home Thursday night to guess what...... ALL my Christmas directions yet.... and here I thought some little elf would have been here and put everything away. But NO.... it's all here... Yesterday I went to visit my Mom 87 and Dad 90 for a few hours and help get things back in order. Did some grocery shopping for them and me.... laundry... putting things back... and when I sat down at the end of the day.... Christmas was still staring at me..... Will today's the day. OUT with the old and in with the clean... sounds good to me, now I'll have to see if I can do it. Need to pack all Mom's Christmas things this morning first so after I have a few cups of coffee off I go to packing her things and visiting with both of them for a few hours. I am so lucky to have both my parents and so close too. There just a few doors down from me so I just put on a jacket and off I go. But when I get back I'm going to CLEAN this house of all signs of Christmas and get it all packed away for Next year. I have to sort thur some of these boxes too. I need to get rid of some of the things I just don't put out anymore. So someone else can enjoy them.

Like I said, maybe later today or tomorrow I'll post my Valentines card I've been wanting to do...

Hubby's Christmas Card!

Hi Everyone!!

Can you believe it... I forgot all about my hubby's Christmas card... I did everyone but his and one for my Mom and Dad.... I'll work on there's tomorrow maybe! 

Will today I did hubby's and here we go........  He LOVE'S to Deer hunt so I try to do a deery card each year for him.  This is what I came up with... I used 2 different kinds of pattern paper, one with horns and the other with leaves... Did my layering, then used my OLD SU deer set called Noble Deer, love that set it can be used with so many different card types.

 Here's another view of the front, I couldn't decide which one I liked better so used them both...

 Here's a close-up, see how I did the bow, I just folded it back and forth in my hand then used needle and thread to sew it so it would hold then I glued it down. Next I tied some twine on the button and glued it on top to cover the sewing... Looks good and not frilly I hope.

This is the inside... If one of his gifts doesn't get here I'll put a gift card in here too....

Will I still got time to do a few more things today... hubby brought home some mistletoe for me from our cabin in Ga. so think I put that in little clear bags and tie ribbon on each for little gift stuffer.
